Methane
(swamp gas, CH4) is a natural combustible gas located in the sedimentary cover of the Earth crust in the form of free accumulations (deposits), in solution (oil, formation and surface waters), dispersed, sorbed (rocks and organic material) and in solid (gas hydrate) phases.
